Why accessible event design matters
One in five Australians have a disability, and most disabilities aren’t visible. If accessibility isn’t considered at every stage of your event, people will be excluded, often without you even realising it.
Accessible event design isn’t just the right thing to do. It makes your event stronger, fairer, and more welcoming for everyone.
This training will help you:
-
Identify and remove access barriers at every stage
-
Increase attendance and community reach
-
Build a reputation for inclusion
-
Understand and meet your legal obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)

We guide you through every stage of planning, delivering and wrapping up an accessible event, sharing lessons from lived experience and decades of practice.
